Welcome to the Kankakee Area Anime Association website. We are a non-profit association of anime fans. Our purpose, as put forth in our constitution, is threefold. We promote anime and manga as artforms. We also promote the artistic and storytelling techniques associated with both. We promote the understanding and enjoyment of other cultures, and we serve as a way for anime fans to meet other anime fans.
On our website, you should find links to our constitution, a lexicon of common anime and manga terms, our meeting schedule, and anime reviews by members of our club. At this time, the anime club holds regular meetings at our local library, the Kankakee Public Library, on every Wednesday night from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
